Configuration Guide
BEFORE YOU BEGIN, please note the following:
On the Nokia 5630 XpressMusic VoIP settings are hidden by default, and you will need Nokia's new VoIP SIP application.
This application can be used to configure VoIP settings on your Nokia. You can create new VoIP profiles and modify the existing ones, and create and modify VoIP parameters and NAT/Firewall traversal settings and that are normally not visible on the device UI, such as codec settings and SIP domain-specific NAT/FW settings. It is also possible to save all the VoIP profile settings to a text file. It also enables VoIP over WCDMA which means you can make VoIP call over 3G Internet connection.
Once you confirm you have 3G Internet connection, using your PC download freeNokia SIP VoIP application from here or check Nokia web site for latest version.
Extract and install SIS file using Nokia PC Suite software on your PC.
Once installation is complete you will be able to see VoIP settings on your Nokia. After installing, restart your phone, and you will find a new tab in your contacts, called "Provider". There you can activate or disconnect the internet phone service.

How do I setup RoadSync 5.0 to sync with Gmail/Google Sync?
Answer:
Basic support for GoogleSync (push Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, email attachments) was added in RoadSync 5.0 for S60. In order to synchronize RoadSync with your Gmail/Google Sync account, you will need to enter the following server settings in RoadSync:| Server: | m.google.com |
Domain: |
|
Username: |
[user]@gmail.com |
Password: |
[your gmail.com password] |
SSL: |
On |
If your Gmail/Google Sync account does not end with "gmail.com" please note the following:
- googlemail.com
If you have a googlemail.com address, you will need to enter [user]@gmail.com as your username instead of your normal email address (you will still receive emails sent to either address). - Google Apps
If you use Google Apps, your email is powered by Gmail/Google Sync but your email address may not end in "gmail.com". You will need to enter your regular email address as the username in your server settings even if it is not a gmail.com address.
If you are unable to sync, you (or your IT Admin) may need to enable the option for "Google Sync" in the Service settings section of your Dashboard. The steps to enable Google Sync can be found on the Google Apps support site here:
